How pictures are part of the making of the city ? Which place are they taken in our lives and what kind of stories are they able to tell us ? How pictures could hijack our eyes ?
Invited by Juste Ici, we’ve run several artistic residencies with Jil Daniel, Atelier Tout va Bien and Atelier McClane in Burgundy-Franche-Comté high schools around thoses questions. The aim was to devellop with students some graphic interventions whose are interrogating the place of printed images in public space. Each group has concieved and diffused in town a serie of pictures handmade on high schools (screen-printing, cyanotype, and woodcut.)
To close this experience and extend the thinking we designed a publication bringing together a new serie of images and the Alain Damasio’s short story called So Phare Away.
